Hotel Alisei is located just outside the lively village of Las Terrenas, on the beautiful Samana peninsula in the North-East of the Dominican Republic.

Driving from the capital of Santo Domingo will take 2.5 hours depending on road conditions.

The alternative is to take a small plane from La Isabela airport (outside Santo Domingo) to El Portillo airport, just 10 minutes from the hotel.

Driving from Puerto Plata or Santiago takes about 3.5 hours.

For our guests arriving through the new "Samana International Airport" at El Catey, the taxi ride is only 35 minutes and the cost is $40 US for up to 7 passengers.

The accommodations

Hotel Alisei consist of 54 brand new apartments with en suite bathroom(s), each with private access and spacious terrace. Decorated in stylish Caribbean elegance with rich tropical hard wood furniture, king size bed(s) and/or single beds, fine fabrics in soft tones and a cosy integrated seating and kitchen area with plenty of colourful pillows. Tall glass doors lead to a large private terrace with enchanting ocean views.

Every apartment is equipped with a kitchen (except for the penthouse apartments) and all the comforts and convenience of home including satellite television, DVD and MP3 players, phone, wireless ADSL internet connection, air conditioning and an in-room safety deposit box.

Choose from any of our unique beach front apartments, elegantly furnished for 2 to 6 people. Couples will find our 1 bedroom apartments with kitchen spacious yet cosy. There is also a penthouse apartment without kitchen suitable for 1 or 2 people. For honeymooners we have made one especially romantic apartment (plan) with in the bedroom a king sized bed with sturdy mattress and a on suite bath big enough for 2. Families will love the private home-like comforts of our villas and larger families or friends travelling together can enjoy connecting apartments in the same building or on the same floor. As an optional, our top floor apartments have the additional penthouse with separate access, bathroom, completely private terrace and superb views.
