no dont be put off coming cabarete is realy a great places to go on holiday, as a tourist you wonot get caugtht up in any of this and if it wasnot for this site you would be unawares of the undercurrents amondst the locals and more longterm tourists.the only thing to be aware of the guys, im not saying they are all like this but if they parade around like they are they shit, wearing oversised clothes(or matching outfits ;op hehe), lots of jewellery, or just think they r to smooth KEEP AWAY or just do what you do but remember they are as part of the resort, part of the holiday -not just for you to enjoy but is for everyone to enjoy -both males and females from the sounds of things!
